Time of day: midday
September 25, 2009
While en route to Bishop I made a quick pit-stop at Tanaya Lake and took a few shots of the rocks in the water. The sunlight was midday bright and harsh; the sky was cloudless.
Not sure exactly what was causing the light reflections on the lake bottom but I liked what I saw. The blue reflections of the sky on the surface add another dimension to the image.
The waters in Tanaya Lake seem to recede in the fall such that the shoreline is more accessible. I love the clarity of the water but my eye keeps returning to the squiggly light reflections on the lake bottom.
Viewing this image somehow relaxes me.
