Casse and I took a drive to the Salt Lake City area this fall in our usual quest for fall images. Thanks to input from Marc Seawell who lives in the area, timing could not have been much better, although a storm 2 days prior did indeed dampen things a bit.
I was struck by the colors on this hillside as we proceeded into the mountains east of Ogden. It felt like the colors were pretty much all over the board here so I was pleased. The light was a bit much initially so reshooting was necessary although the view was better the prior day since some of the plants lost their leaves overnight. Still, I’m pleased with this image.
I love the many small bushes here, each with their own unique color palate in a broad/wide scene.
What a lovely, messy parade of colors.
